Catherine Stearns

Catherine Stearns earned her BA from Beloit College, MFA from the University of Iowa, and PhD from Brandeis University. She is the author of the full-length poetry collection The Transparency of Skin (1988) and Then & Again (2018). Her honors and awards include a McKnight Foundation Writers Fellowship and a Dana Poetry Award. She was also a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant finalist. She is currently the writer-in-residence at the Roxbury Latin School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
