Christine Stewart-Nuñez

Brookings, South Dakota

Poet Christine Stewart-Nuñez earned a BA from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995, an MA in literature from Arizona State University, and a PhD in English (creative writing) with a certificate of specialization in women’s and gender studies from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She is the author of the poetry collections Postcards on Parchment (2008) and Keeping Them Alive (2010).

Stewart-Nuñez has taught at Tarsus American College in Turkey and is a professor at South Dakota State University.
