Elise Hempel

Elise Hempel is the author of the poetry collections Second Rain (Able Muse Press, 2016) and Only Child (Finishing Line Press, 2014). Her poems have appeared in Poetry magazine, Spoon River Poetry Review, Blue Unicorn, and Tar River Poetry, among other magazines and journals. She lives in Illinois and has taught at Eastern Illinois University.
