Marilyn Dorf

Lincoln, Nebraska

Marilyn Dorf was born in Albion, Nebraska. Her chapbooks include: A Tribute to Buttons (1985), Of Hoopoes and Hummingbirds (1998), Windmills Walk the Night (1992), This Red Hill (2003), I Know That An Owl Owns This Sky (2009). Her work has appeared in many journals, including Christian Science Monitor, Kansas Quarterly, Wholenotes, Plainsongs, Mankato, Poetry Review, and in the newspaper series American Life in Poetry. Her poems have been included in the anthologies Times of Sorrow/Times of Grace (2002), Crazy Woman's Creek (2004), Nebraska Presence (2007), The Untidy Season (2013). She lives in Nebraska.
