Susan Browne

Susan Browne (she/her) has published poetry in Ploughshares, Poetry, The Sun, The Southern Review, Rattle, New Ohio Review, On the Seawall, American Life in Poetry, and the anthology 180 More: Extraordinary Poems for Every Day (Random House, 2005). She has published three books of poetry: Buddha’s Dogs (Four Way Books, 2004), Zephyr (Steel Toe Books, 2010), and Just Living (Catamaran Literary Reader, 2019). She has also collaborated with poet Kim Addonizio to create a spoken-word and music CD. Her awards include prizes from Four Way Books, the Los Angeles Poetry Festival, the River Styx International Poetry Contest, the Catamaran Poetry Prize, and the James Dickey Poetry Prize. She has received support from a fellowship with the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center. She lives in Northern California.
